Cristian Mungiu and Sebastian Stan on Fjord

Welcome to the daily 64th New York Film Festival podcast. On today’s edition, Cristian Mungiu and Sebastian Stan join NYFF Main Slate and Spotlight Selection Committee Member Justin Chang to discuss Fjord. Mungiu earned his second Palme d’Or for this searing drama starring Stan and Renate Reinsve as a married couple who have immigrated to Norway from Romania and fall under suspicion of child abuse. Fjord is Romania’s entry for Best International Feature Film at the 2027 Academy Awards. The 64th New York Film Festival is presented in partnership with Rolex.
