Soul Sessions: Intentional Friendship, Front-Loading & the Energy of September (with Amy Brown)

This week on Soul Sessions, Amanda Rieger-Green welcomes a very special guest: her cousin Amy Brown, co-host of The Bobby Bones Show and Feeling Things with Amy and Kat, who traveled all the way to Cuenca, Ecuador to visit her. Amanda and Amy dive deep into what it means to be truly intentional in friendship, how the loss of both of their mothers deepened their bond, and why "front-loading" your schedule to protect time with the people you love is worth it. They talk through calling an audible, coping mechanisms disguised as chores (hello, aggressive counter-wiping), book recommendations for reconnecting with fiction, and how September's numerology landing as a 1 month in a 1 Universal Year, amplified into a 10, is asking all of us to engage more fully and show up present in our relationships. Amanda also opens up about a recent, tender loss and what it's teaching her about living in the now instead of waiting for "someday." A warm, funny, and honest conversation about presence, reciprocity, and inhabiting your life with the people who matter most.
