It’s been an incredible year so far for Jinkx Monsoon and Alaska Thunderfuck from RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Alaska has been best known up until now as the boyfriend of Sharon Needles, the current reigning America’s Next Drag Superstar but she is now poised to take the grand prize herself. Just how closely does the movie Showgirls resemble their relationship?

Jinkx has long dazzled audiences in musical theater in the Pacific Northwest, most recently starring in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Jinkx strikes terror in the hearts of drag pageant girls everywhere with her outrageous style.

Today they are in the home studio, taking us on a wild ride behind the scenes of the show. Join us for this very special in-depth conversation about drag, music, their lives and RuPaul.
