COVID changed Australian businesses forever. Not only was there a rapid pivot online, there's also been a major shift away from cash. Technology business Square is commonly seen as the provider of the little white payment readers we're so familiar with at our local cafes, but it does much more. It builds hardware, software and financial service products for businesses of all types and sizes. It's also the global company that bought Afterpay, with a unique insight into the buy now pay later sector.
