Get ahead of your league with five fantasy football waiver wire stashes worth adding before their roles, and roster percentages, potentially take off. These are players you can grab now instead of fighting for them after a breakout performance.

Lucas Wencl breaks down Caleb Douglas of the Miami Dolphins, Malachi Fields of the New York Giants, Devaughn Vele of the New Orleans Saints, Chris Brooks of the Green Bay Packers, and Ted Hurst III of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. From rookie wide receivers with immediate opportunities to a deep running back stash who could earn meaningful snaps, these are five names to know heading into Week 1.

The best waiver wire moves often happen a week early. Find out which under-the-radar players offer immediate fantasy football upside, which are longer-term bench stashes, and who could become one of next week’s most popular waiver wire pickups.
