Previewing St. John's-Kentucky, Houston-Arkansas, Duke-Texas Tech & more + Who will win the SEC?

On today’s show, we preview a big weekend in college basketball, starting with an early look at the CBS Sports Classic. We break down Kentucky-St. John’s and North Carolina-Ohio State, and discuss what the spotlight could mean for Jayden Quaintance IF he takes the floor in a showcase event he grew up watching ( ... or so GP says). After the break, we dive into a Dribble Handoff focused on the SEC, debating who’s best positioned to win the league, whether Vanderbilt is a legitimate title contender, and which SEC teams—if any—have a real chance to make a run at the national championship. We wrap things up with The Final Four And 1 presented by FanDuel Sportsbook, breaking down four of the weekend’s biggest games, including St. John’s vs. Kentucky, Ohio State vs. North Carolina, Houston vs. Arkansas, and Duke vs. Texas Tech. Plus, the And 1 spotlights a key Mountain West matchup as Colorado State visits Utah State on CBS Sports Network. 0:00 Intro 1:00 CBS Sports Classic Preview 26:00 SEC Check-In 32:15 St. John's-Kentucky 37:00 Ohio State-UNC 39:45 Houston-Arkansas 45:00 Duke-Texas Tech 55:15 Colorado State-Utah State 59:00 More games to watch Theme song: “Timothy Leary,” written, performed and courtesy of Guster Eye on College Basketball is available for free on the Audacy app as well as Apple Podcasts, Spotify and wherever else you listen to podcasts.
