05/27: Mac McClung picks Texas Tech, but will he be eligible? Plus: Pissed off Bobby Hurley, and remembering Eddie Sutton's HOF career

How about this: we’ve got a six-topic college hoops pod for you in late May in the middle of a pandemic. And it’s 70-plus minutes at that. Dive in. The pod opens with GP and Norlander discussing Mac McClung’s commitment to Texas Tech and offer up their thoughts on if he’ll be eligible next season or will sit until 2021. Then the guys touch on Patrick Ewing and Georgetown for a moment before getting into a transfer waiver that was approved: Johnny Juzang will be immediately eligible at UCLA (16:40). His situation sheds light on why a few players might win on these decisions this offseason. From there, a discussion about Bobby Hurley (26:00) standing up for his wife and going after his athletic director. We want to alert our listeners that the Hurley portion of the podcast includes the topic of sexual assault, and the discussion and descriptions therein could be sensitive for some. From there, a recognition of the life and Hall of Fame career of Eddie Sutton (37:10), the late news Wednesday on no July recruiting (52:00) and more binge-watching TV musings from the guys (66:00).
