Espooky Ex Convento (Ex-convent) with Stephany of Self-Conchas Podcast

El Ex Convento del Desierto de Leones in Mexico (or ex convent of the Desert of Lions) is one of the oldest in the country, with over 400 years of history. It was home of the Barefoot Carmelites, then for the military during the Mexican civil war and currently does year round spooky tours. Some say there are monks who never left the convent.

Our guest tells us her very espooky encounter here, but first, we have a listener story about a haunted Goodwill. If you would like to share an espooky stories with us, please email us at [email protected] or contact us via any social media page. The Spanglish is a little strong in the episode, so we do apologize to our Spanish challenged friends.
