God Is Still Working on You: Why Sanctification Takes So Long

What is progressive sanctification, and why is it such good news for Christians who still struggle with sin?

In this episode of Take Heart, Cory Wing explains that when God saves His people, He does not leave them where He found them.

Through Philippians 1, Galatians 3, 2 Corinthians 3, Romans 8, John 17, Hebrews 10, and other passages, Cory shows how God progressively conforms believers into the image of Christ through His Spirit, His Word, prayer, the church, family, suffering, repentance, and daily obedience.

This episode offers encouragement for weary Christians who feel like they are growing slowly: the same God who began the good work will bring it to completion.
