1) Daniel’s Prophecies What’s Clear, What’s Controversial, and Why It Matters

Why does the book of Daniel remain one of the most debated books of biblical prophecy?

In this newly recorded introduction to his series on Daniel, Jay Rogers lays the foundation for understanding Daniel’s prophecies from a preterist perspective. He explains the background behind his studies, how his work in Revelation and Matthew 24 shaped his approach, and why getting the historical context right is essential for interpreting Daniel.

Some of Daniel’s prophecies are remarkably clear. Others have produced centuries of disagreement. Throughout this series, Jay will examine both—working through the text, historical setting, competing interpretations, and the principles we should use when approaching biblical prophecy.

Before tackling the difficult passages, we begin with the foundation: What can we know with confidence, where does the controversy begin, and how do Daniel’s visions fit together?
