Federal Court Pauses Release Of Trump Documents
In a last ditch effort to prevent the release of hundreds of personal documents, former President Trump won a temporary pause on releasing White House records to the House select committee investigating the January 6 attack on the US Capitol. The injunction is to protect the court's jurisdiction to address appellant's claims of executive privilege and should not be construed as a ruling on merit. The defense has rested their case today in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, a teenager faced with several charges of homicide in 2020 following social unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Closing arguments are expected early next week. To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
