Daryl Davis on Combating Hate Through Compassion and Understanding

In the wake of recent events, we'd like to reshare this Elevate episode featuring Daryl Davis, who offered meaningful insights on how to combat hate and build shared understanding. Daryl Davis has bridged divides with some of the most condemned people in America. He’s a professional musician, author and lecturer. He’s perhaps known for his outreach to members of hate groups, including the Ku Klux Klan–he has personally persuaded hundreds of people to leave the KKK. He is also the author of Klan-Destine Encounters: A Black Man’s Odyssey In Ku Klux Klan, and his work on race relations has been featured on Good Morning America, NBC CNN and more.
