Ep. 098: Big Woods Rut Hunting with Joe Martonik

On this episode of the East Meets West Hunt podcast, I’m joined by my father, Joe Martonik to talk about hunting the rut in the big woods for mountain bucks. I've been wanting to get my Dad on for a long time, as he is arguably one of the most consistent successful hunters in the big woods. We talk all about hunting the pre-rut and rut phases of the season and some of his non-traditional strategies to being successful. Topics include still hunting on the ground, utilizing logging cuts, hunting scrapes and much more!
