Wolfpack Fights Through Struggles, Eyes Growth

N.C. State Womens Basketball: Navigating Challenges, Seeking ImprovementThe N.C. State womens basketball team, once a top contender, has faced a tough start to their season, falling out of the rankings. Coach Moore acknowledged their struggles, emphasizing the need for better attention to detail in offense and defense. Despite a recent winning streak, including a record-breaking performance in the Cancun Challenge, the team has yet to consistently display the dominant form of previous seasons. Their defensive intensity remains a key area for improvement, and theyre dealing with the indefinite suspension of sophomore center Lorena Awou. The teams success this season has correlated with a positive assist-to-turnover ratio and a strong steal margin. Theyre focused on growth and improving before conference play begins.
