Winter Storms Threaten Thanksgiving Travel

Two potential winter storms threaten to disrupt Thanksgiving travel, with millions expected to hit the roads and skies. The busiest holiday travel period in fifteen years is projected, with over fifty-two thousand flights scheduled on Tuesday. However, rain and snow could cause significant delays, especially in northern areas like Minneapolis. AAA estimates eighty-two million people will travel, setting a new record for holiday driving. Officials advise against driving in inclement weather and suggest avoiding the roads during peak delay times. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city.
