UNC Watch Party Interrupted by Racial Slurs | Durham News

A UNC Chapel Hill student watch party turned chaotic when stranger Keegan Wilson stormed in, allegedly assaulted someone, and hurled racial slurs—interrupting a Black student-hosted Love Island viewing. Arrested on Sept. 9, he faces assault and disorderly conduct charges, with court set for Friday. Police took 17 minutes to respond, sparking outrage over delayed action and lack of campus alert. Students are baffled how he breached a locked building—and demand answers on security and safety protocols.
