Despite Republican Representative Richard Hudsons claim, turkey prices arent at a twenty-five-year low this Thanksgiving. While wholesale prices have risen due to factors like bird flu, many consumers are paying lower retail prices. The American Farm Bureau Federations report doesnt support this claim, as retail turkey prices were lower in 2019 and 2020. Produce prices, however, are up due to higher costs for farmers.
