Smith: Video Proves Republicans Wrong on Military Strike

Top Democrat Adam Smith challenges Republican narrative on a military strike in the Caribbean, claiming a surveillance video would prove them wrong. Smith, who has seen the footage, asserts it shows a drug trafficking vessel was incapacitated, with unarmed, non-communicative survivors. He criticizes Secretary Hegseth and Republican Senator Tom Cottons descriptions, calling the video deeply disturbing. Smith calls for the videos public release, arguing it would expose the Republican claims as false. The legality of the operation remains a contentious issue, with legal experts questioning the administrations justification. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
