Serena Williams Rejoins Tennis Pool, Hinting at Comeback

Serena Williams, the legendary tennis champion, has re-entered the International Registered Testing Pool, hinting at a potential comeback to professional tennis. After making history at the 2022 U.S. Open, she announced her intention to evolve away from tennis, leaving fans wondering if a comeback was possible. Despite earlier attempts to rejoin the pool for doubles play, current rules prohibit short-notice comebacks for officially retired players. Serena could potentially return in the spring of 2026, following a recent interview where she admitted to struggling with life after tennis. She has kept busy with business ventures and motherhood, sharing her passion for tennis with her daughters. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city.
