Remembering James Wehr and Alexis Kramer | Durham News

Tragic loss hits the car community as James Wehr, co-founder of South OC Cars and Coffee, and his friend Alexis Kramer died in a fiery crash involving a high-speed McLaren. Their memorial will be held Saturday at the same spot where they lived their passion — with attendees asked to wear white sneakers and drive safely in James’s honor. Family and friends gather to celebrate his life, while investigators probe whether roadway water contributed to the accident — and seek answers amid grief.
