PGA Tour Returns to Asheville with Biltmore Championship

PGA Tour Returns to Asheville: The Biltmore Championship AnnouncedThe PGA Tour is making a comeback to the Blue Ridge Mountains, with the new Biltmore Championship set to take place in Asheville, North Carolina, in September 2026. This marks the first time in 86 years that a PGA Tour event will be held in the city. The tournament will be a FedEx Cup Fall event, hosted at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, designed by Jack Nicklaus. North Carolina already hosts two other PGA Tour events, and the Biltmore Championship will be crucial for players aiming to secure their PGA Tour cards for the following season. This four-year deal is part of an expanding Fall 2026 schedule, featuring new events in Austin, Texas, and other locations. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
