Operation Charlotte's Web: Failing to Win Hearts

Operation Charlottes Web in North Carolina, initiated by the president, is nearing completion amidst criticism and declining public support. The operation, aimed at addressing immigration issues, has been deemed a failure by some, with the presidents approval numbers and standing on immigration significantly weakening. Recent polls show a majority of Americans disapprove of deploying federal agents for crime and immigration enforcement, and only 42% approve of the presidents handling of immigration. Hispanic voters support has dropped by 19 points since January. North Carolina Republicans, typically strong supporters, have been hesitant to endorse the federal presence in Charlotte. As the operation concludes, community members are encouraged to support local businesses, document and hold federal agents accountable, and protest peacefully. DNN | The Daily News Now!
