In a tight race, Louie Rivers the Third, Wes McMahon, Camille Berry, and Paris Miller-Foushee were elected to Chapel Hill's town council. Rivers, a professor, focused on climate change and community engagement. McMahon, also a planning commission member, prioritized parks, economic development, and greenways. Berry, the incumbent, continued her focus on affordable housing. Miller-Foushee, another incumbent, aims to simplify affordable housing development along transit corridors.
