N.C. State's Hollywood Smothers Enters Transfer Portal

N.C. States top rusher, Hollywood Smothers, has entered the transfer portal, leaving a significant void in the teams offense. Smothers, a Charlotte native, had an impressive season with 939 rushing yards and led the ACC in yards per game. He earned All-ACC First Team honors and was known for his elusive running style. The Wolfpack will likely focus on retaining redshirt freshman Duke Scott, who showed promise alongside Smothers. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city.
