Kaleb's Purpose: Football, Family, and Community

Kaleb Ferrell, a junior running back for Cleveland High, is making headlines for his impressive football skills and selfless dedication to his family and community. Despite his personal achievements, Kalebs primary motivation is to protect his quarterback and help his team succeed. He lives with his grandparents and aunt, who has cerebral palsy, and dedicates his time to caring for her. Kaleb also volunteers with his teammates at a local food bank and homeless shelter. As Cleveland High prepares for the state playoffs, Kalebs leadership and hard work are evident, both on and off the field. His inspiration comes from former Cleveland High star Omarion Hampton, who has become a mentor and role model for Kaleb. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
