Jennifer Job Appointed to Wake County School Board
Jennifer Job, a former high school teacher and Democratic Party official, has been appointed to the Wake County school board. She replaces Lindsay Mahaffey, who stepped down in August. Job, currently a principal at a progressive political communications firm, emphasized the importance of having an educator on the board. She is also a parent of a third-grade student in Wake County. Job was chosen in the first round of voting, receiving five of the eight board votes. She will complete Mahaffeys term, representing a district that includes parts of Apex, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
