Jaire Alexander Steps Away from Football

Jaire Alexander, Philadelphia Eagles cornerback, steps away from football to focus on physical and mental well-being. He was traded to the Eagles from Baltimore Ravens but had only played in two games due to offseason knee surgery. Alexanders decision mirrors that of Indianapolis Colts cornerback Xavien Howard, who also retired mid-season. This trend of athletes prioritizing mental health is reminiscent of Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and tennis star Naomi Osaka. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
