High School Training Saves Brown Student in Shooting

Stacey Wang, a Brown University student, credits her high school active shooter training for helping her survive a recent shooting on campus. Wang and her roommate hid for hours, using lessons from Leesville Road High School to stay undetected. The incident left two dead and nine injured, with Kendall Turner, a Durham Academy graduate, among the wounded. The FBI offers a $50,000 reward for information on the shooter, believed to still be armed. Wang plans to return home early for the holidays, expressing sympathy for affected families.
