Harris Security Tested in Malibu | Durham News

From Durham News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now! The Daily News Now!

A trespasser walked onto Kamala Harris’s Malibu property Friday night, but security caught him fast—no drama, no injuries. Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff weren’t home, and the sheriff’s department confirmed they’re beefing up patrols nearby. The incident highlights a quirky security loophole: while former presidents get lifetime protection, most VPs only get six months—though Biden had extended Harris’s coverage until Trump revoked it last August. All’s well that ends well, thanks to a swift response.
