Girl Hit by Truck, Walks Away | Durham News

A girl narrowly escapes serious injury after being shoved under a Mack truck while distracted by her phone—miraculously suffering only scratches. Witnesses, including jewelry store employees, saw the terrifying moment unfold and sprang into action. One employee, Bladimir, heroically stopped the truck and checked on her, finding she was fine except for her hair trapped underneath. The driver had no idea she was there, and the girl wasn’t using a crosswalk. Bystanders stayed with her until she was safely walked home, while police arrived too late to intervene. The incident is now under investigation.
