Duke Volleyball: Fighting Spirit Amidst Losses

Dukes volleyball team, led by freshmen Olivia Wayne and Ashby Zubchevich, faced a tough weekend in Florida, extending their losing streak despite a strong start against Florida State. Despite committing twenty-five attack errors, they won the first set against Florida State. However, they lost the match three sets to one. Earlier in the week, they also lost to Miami in straight sets. Despite the losses, head coach Jolene Nagel praised the teams progress and resilience, particularly the freshmen and sophomores. Duke will play Wake Forest on November twenty-sixth, hoping to turn their season around. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city. Every story. AI powered.
