Duke's Scheyer Nears Milestone in Close Game

Dukes basketball team, led by head coach Jon Scheyer, faced off against the ASUN champions, Lipscomb, in a thrilling game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Despite a slow start and allowing the most points in a half this season, Duke managed to secure a narrow lead at halftime. Coach Scheyer was on the brink of a historic milestone, needing just one more win to become the fastest coach to reach 100 career victories in ACC history. Lipscomb, despite their height disadvantage and being heavily outrebounded, played with remarkable efficiency, keeping the game close and making it a memorable contest. DNN | The Daily News Now!
