Duke Basketball Secures Victory, Preps for Texas Tech

Dukes basketball team triumphed over Lipscomb, securing a ninety-seven to seventy-three victory despite twenty-two turnovers. The Blue Devils dominated the boards, outrebounding Lipscomb fifty-five to twenty-one. This win marked head coach Jon Scheyers one hundredth career victory in just one hundred and twenty-two games, making him the second-fastest NCAA Division One mens coach in the past forty-five seasons to reach this milestone. The first half was challenging for Duke, but they emerged from halftime with renewed focus, led by Caleb Foster and the Boozer twins. Despite Lipscombs efforts, Dukes defense held strong, and they secured the win with an eighteen to two run. Looking ahead, Duke will face number nineteen ranked Texas Tech this Saturday, acknowledging that anyone can beat them on any day. DNN | The Daily News Now!
