Derek Hough’s Dad Brain Mix-Up | Durham News

Derek Hough’s “dad brain” moment went viral when he accidentally called Tyler Cameron “Dylan” on Dancing With the Stars — and it wasn’t the first time he mixed up names, jokingly dubbing himself “Dad Brian.” The hilarious mix-ups included confusing Mark Ballas with George and Bruno Tonioli with Jeffrey, even mistaking Robert Irwin for Bindi. Tyler Cameron joined in with a cheeky lip-sync video alongside Dylan Efron, quipping they’re “not the same person,” while Hough teased seeing “2 DYLANS.” Despite the gaffes, the judges loved Tyler’s debut, giving him a solid 17/30 and praising his presence and potential — proving even pros can blank out, especially with family life on the brain.
