Cinnabon Employee's Racist Outburst Goes Viral

A Cinnabon employee in Wisconsin sparked outrage after a viral TikTok video captured her racist outburst against a Black Somali Muslim couple. The employee, Crystal Wilsey, made offensive remarks, including a racial slur, and was immediately terminated by the franchise owner. Cinnabon condemned her actions, stating they do not reflect their values. Despite an online fundraising campaign for Wilsey, the Council on American-Islamic Relations welcomed Cinnabons decision, highlighting the prevalence of anti-Black and anti-Somali racism.
