Carnation Ace Hardware Closes After 56 Years

Carnation Ace Hardware, a cherished local store, closes after 56 years, marking the end of an era for a small Washington town. The beloved mom-and-pop shop, known for its tools, home supplies, and handyman services, was a cornerstone of the downtown area. Owner Ron Cox's retirement, coupled with broader challenges faced by independent retailers, led to the closure.
