Seth Jarvis, Carolina Hurricanes star, is making waves beyond the ice—donating to launch UNC Children’s Hospital’s first-ever facility dog program, where specially trained pups will join medical teams to comfort kids during treatments. These furry therapists bring joy, normalcy, and warmth to a stressful environment, blending Jarvis’s love for kids and dogs into real-world healing. The hospital expects the first two dogs ready by mid-2027, proving that compassion, creativity, and canines can transform care for young patients and their families.
