Brennan Joins WI Governor Race, Vows Bipartisanship

Joel Brennan, a former top aide to Governor Tony Evers, has entered the 2026 Wisconsin gubernatorial race, aiming to challenge President Trumps chaos and foster bipartisan cooperation. Brennan, who leads the Greater Milwaukee Committee, joins a competitive Democratic primary field, including Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez, Mandela Barnes, and David Crowley. On the Republican side, Tom Tiffany and Josh Schoemann vie for the nomination. Brennan, with his private sector experience and time as Evers chief of staff, seeks to leverage his network for a winning campaign in this politically divided swing state. DNN | The Daily News Now!
