Apple Gets 4-Year Extension for NC Campus

Apple granted four-year extension to meet hiring and investment goals for Research Triangle Park campus in North Carolina. The tech giant, which received hundreds of millions in state incentives, now has more time to fulfill its commitment to invest one billion dollars and create three thousand jobs over ten years. Despite pausing construction on the campus, Apple has added around six hundred positions in the Raleigh area since 2021 and plans to focus on machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software engineering at the future campus.
