Amanda Knox Speaks Out for Patrick Clancy | Durham News

Amanda Knox stands by Patrick Clancy as he faces relentless online harassment over his children’s tragic deaths, echoing her own experience of public scrutiny and false narratives. While conspiracy theories paint him as suspicious—even for running a marathon—Knox reminds us that the real blame lies elsewhere, pointing to Rudy Guede, the convicted killer in her own case. Clancy, never a suspect, testified in his ex-wife’s trial, forgiving her amid claims of postpartum psychosis. With a mistrial and no arrest, Lindsay Clancy remains hospitalized since 2023, awaiting a September hearing where a retrial remains uncertain. Knox warns that when truth is obscured, people will always seek a scapegoat—even if it’s not the right one.
