ACC Gains Upper Hand in Notre Dame Playoff Snub

Notre Dames exclusion from the College Football Playoff, despite a strong season, has sparked controversy. The ACC, with which Notre Dame has a partial affiliation, secured a spot for Miami, leading to a rare moment of dominance. A new rule next year could guarantee Notre Dame a playoff spot if ranked in the top twelve. Despite the current uproar, the long-term relationship between Notre Dame and the ACC is unlikely to change, as both entities still benefit from their association. DNN | The Daily News Now!
