Absentia's Netflix Surge: A Second Life for Crime Thriller

Absentia, starring Stana Katic, has seen a surge in popularity on Netflix, years after its initial cancellation. The crime thriller series, which originally aired on Prime Video, follows FBI special agent Emily Byrnes mysterious disappearance and her struggle to piece together her past. Despite Katic confirming no fourth season in 2021, the shows compelling storyline has captivated audiences and given it a second life on streaming platforms. Cast members have moved on to various projects, but the shows Netflix success has sparked renewed interest. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city.
