Quotes & Wisdom:

[02:52] "A weekend course does not make a specialist. We want to take care of people the way that we would want to be taken care of."

[07:37] "What you do with that problem, what you do with your failures, with your low points in life, defines you just as much as your successes do."

[08:04] "I don't think that dealing or coping is something that we're all born with. I think it's something that we learn."

[35:38] "Choosing wisely and learning how to pick yourself up and keep going is a learned skill that's just as important as the clinical practice."

[40:12] "Being a dentist is not your whole identity. It can't be. It's too detrimental to your mental health. It's not good for your personal life. And it's terrible for your team and your patients."

[54:48] "We all wake up every morning and we have 24 hours. So what did you do with your 24 hours?"

[56:34] "Work life balance is a bunch of garbage... work life balance is a moving target. Something always has to give, and you just have to make sure it's not yourself."

[1:00:13] "Don't live your life on someone else's timeline."
