S5 Ep272: Episode 272: Pennsylvania True Crime Horror

The true crime genre fascinates so many of us, including tonight’s protagonist, who isinitially driven by a youthful fascination and a frustration with fictionalized crime. The author recounts their early, amateur investigations, supported by a trust fund, into unsolved cases in Pennsylvania, notably the mysterious disappearances surrounding Dutchman's Hollow. This includes the bizarre and unexplained case of Raymond Hess, who vanished and reappeared with amnesia, later becoming a suspect in several unsolved murders. The narrative then shifts to the author's own terrifying experience exploring Dutchman's Hollow, a remote and historically significant area with a local legend of ancient spirits and an alarming number of unsolved disappearances, leading to a profound reevaluation of their approach to true crime.
