At first, he collected vinyl with Techno, Acid or Trance tracks. At that time he listened regularly to a show called Grooveyard on Radio 100, a pirate radio station in Amsterdam. This show was his very source of what we now call the Oldskool style. He then experienced the gradual development of that style into the recognizable Gabber sound of the ‘90s.DJ The Enforcer was one of Strength of Unity's founders when it started throwing parties. From the beginning, he was one of the resident DJs. Usually, he played Oldschool sets on vinyl. He then switched to Early Hardcore when the Ouwe Stijl is Botergeil concept came around.
