Summary: In the podcast episode titled "Party On, Garth," the hosts discuss the 18th episode of "Supernatural" season seven. The episode centers on a series of mysterious deaths linked to a Japanese spirit, the shoju, which only appears to those who are drunk. Garth, a humorous and unconventional hunter, leads the investigation, using his wit and a sock puppet to extract information from a traumatized girl. The team discovers that the shoju is tied to a bottle of sake left by a deceased brewmaster. They ultimately defeat the spirit with a samurai sword blessed with a Japanese ritual.
