Summary: In the "Hell House" episode, Sam and Dean investigate a haunted house in Richardson, Texas, where a ghost named Mordecai is terrorizing teenagers. They discover that the legend of Mordecai was fabricated by two boys, Craig and his cousin, as a prank. The ghost is revealed to be a Tulpa, a manifestation of thought created by the collective belief of people viewing the haunted house website. Sam and Dean trick the boys into believing Mordecai is a Tulpa, leading to his weakening. The episode explores the concept of Tulpas, imaginary friends made real through intense concentration, and their evolution beyond Tibetan culture. The dynamic between Sam, Dean, and the paranormal investigators Ed and Harry adds to the episode's charm.
