Blackchild - Nothing Better Than Music

An established talent currently at the fore of the house and scene, Blackchild lands on Defected with ‘Nothing Better Than Music’. Italian producer Blackchild’s unique sonic often blends his jazz-training with electronic style, delivering cross-genre damagers built for the underground and leading to collaborations with Paco Osuna and St Germain. Further solo releases on Solid Grooves and his own imprint LATEMORNING cemented Blackchild’s status as one of the scene’s freshest names, now landing on Defected with ‘Nothing Better Than Music’. By splicing together several infectious vocal samples, underpinned by funk-laden patterns and synth mastery, Blackchild has created an instantly addictive house record that sounds timeless yet feels vastly modern.
