The Love I Had To Heal For (Guests: Lisa Nichols & Marcellus Hall)

Lisa Nichols has inspired millions to believe they are worthy of more, but when love finally showed up for her, receiving it became the real work.

In this powerful episode of Dear Future Wifey, Lisa and Marcellus Hall unpack the eight-year journey that eventually led them to love. Lisa reveals how past heartbreak caused her to prejudge Marcellus for things he had never done, creating scenarios in her mind and nearly self-sabotaging the relationship before giving him the opportunity to show her who he truly was.

Marcellus shares what it took to patiently love a woman who was still learning how to receive the very love she deserved.

This conversation explores healing, vulnerability, self-sabotage, and the difficult truth that sometimes the greatest obstacle to healthy love isn’t finding the right person. It’s believing you’re safe enough to receive them.
