Taking Back Women's Health (Guest: Coach Gessie)

In this deeply moving episode of Dear Future Wifey, Laterras & Ashley R. Whitfield sits down with health advocate and entrepreneur Coach Gessie Thompson for a transparent conversation about faith, resilience, and the fight to become a mother.

Coach Gessie opens up about her 10-year battle with infertility and fibroid complications, sharing the emotional, physical, and financial toll of what she calls her “Million Dollar Baby Journey.” After spending over $1,000,000 in pursuit of conception, she recounts the heartbreak, the hope, and the unwavering faith that carried her through one of the most challenging seasons of her life.

With courage and vulnerability, she shares the miraculous story of how she ultimately conceived—and how that victory transformed her pain into purpose.

Beyond her personal testimony, Coach Gessie explains how her health struggles awakened her passion for advocacy. She discusses how toxins, lifestyle, and wellness education became central to her mission, ultimately leading her to launch a company dedicated to helping families live healthier, toxin-free lives.

This episode is raw, inspiring, and empowering—a reminder that even in prolonged waiting, God can birth purpose, advocacy, and legacy.

If you’ve ever wrestled with infertility, chronic health challenges, or the weight of unanswered prayers, this conversation will strengthen your faith and ignite your hope.
